I’ve been a client of Bespoke Men’s Tailor in DIFC for around three months and my experience has been amazing from the very beginning.
Before coming here, I deliberately visited seven well-known tailors in Dubai that position themselves as bespoke tailors. I wanted to understand how each one works, their construction, fabrics and fitting process, and what you actually get for your money.
What surprised me most was that some well-known bespoke tailors I visited only make fused jackets, even with Loro Piana or Zegna fabrics. Others offered fully floated construction only if you specifically asked; otherwise fused was standard. With a fused jacket, the internal structure is glued to the outer fabric, while a fully floated jacket has a canvas built and attached by hand, allowing it to shape naturally to the body, drape better and maintain its structure over time. It also requires far more craftsmanship and man-hours. When paying for true bespoke tailoring and fabrics of this level, I believe a jacket should be fully floated.
This is where Bespoke Men’s Tailor immediately stood out. They have been in Dubai since 1956 and make their bespoke jackets exclusively fully floated. They do not even offer fused construction. For me, their knowledge, craftsmanship and attention to detail stand far above the rest.
After comparing them with the others, I wanted to order several jackets immediately because I had by far the best feeling here. However, Assaad, the manager, advised me to start with just one jacket, one pair of trousers and one shirt: “Marco, first experience the entire process and final result. If you are completely satisfied, then we can continue building your wardrobe together.” I really appreciated that honesty. Instead of selling me as much as possible, he wanted their work to prove itself first.
And it did. After the very first fitting, I was extremely impressed, especially by how clean the back of the jacket was, something that has always been a struggle because of the shape of my back. Even the lengths were basically perfect. The three photos attached are from that very first fitting, showing how well everything was already sitting after being built completely from scratch. We then did two more fittings, refining the smallest details until everything was genuinely 100% right. That commitment to perfection is one of their greatest strengths.
I previously had an expensive Loro Piana jacket made by one of the best tailors in the Netherlands, but compared with what Bespoke Men’s Tailor has made for me, it is honestly a world of difference in fit, construction, proportions and finishing. Before discovering Bespoke Men’s Tailor, I also tested another well-known Dubai tailor with a shirt and trousers. They were considerably more expensive, while the fabrics were clearly lower quality and the fit was far from good. I never ended up wearing either piece.
Assaad also has an exceptional eye for fabrics, colours, proportions, style and detail. I’m a perfectionist myself and want everything to work together in harmony. I now completely trust him with fabrics, colours, details and complete combinations for my wardrobe, which I don’t do easily.
I’ve now had 4 jackets, 4 pairs of trousers and 10+ shirts made here, with the same attention to quality and perfection throughout.
Their value for money is exceptional considering the fabrics, multiple fittings, craftsmanship and fully floated construction. They also do virtually no marketing and are barely active on social media, relying mainly on word of mouth and the quality of their work. I’ve already had several people ask where I had my jackets made, which says enough for me.
After three months, I can only come to one conclusion: Bespoke Men’s Tailor is by far the best bespoke tailor I have experienced in Dubai. Their knowledge, honesty, craftsmanship and attention to detail are on another level.
I’m a customer for life and genuinely very happy that I found them.
